Sick Clown Loach, Think He's On His Way Out.

If it's internal parasites you are going to lose alot of fish, as the only treatment is through a vet , it a pig worming tablet called levimsole bet i spelt that wrong i always do.
If you can't get the med you have to this going to sound awful but destroy the sick fish with the internal parasites, and strip the tank down and start again.

So I guess your saying that the Protozin and Sterazin treatments are not worth doing, just want to be clear.

Oh, and thanks for the loach link, very interesting reading.

Paul.

Not for internal parasites no the waterlife meds are no good, even though they say the sterazin treat them, don't believe that as it dosn't as i tryed it myself.

Thanks Wilder,

But what if all we're seeing is the effects of external parasites, i.e. gill flooks and the stringy clear poo was a one-off caused by bad diet? (it is something I've only seen a couple of times), I'd hate to start euphanazing on the basis of an upset stomach
