I have live plants will it effect my whole tank also I have a new tank is it worth waiting till he gets better x

can the bactera be caused by whitespot the cause is th plants I think

No. Whitespot is a parasite and not carried by plants. It's carried in infected water and on other fish. When the white spots (usually called cysts) burst, they release more parasites into the water column where their life cycle continues and they affect any weakened fish.
