shelaghfishface
the one and only
hes been on his own in this tank for about 4 weeks,4 days ago i added my 4 clown loach and 1 of my common plecs as the other tank they were in was never meant to be permanent,
after i added them the nitrites went high,so have been doing lots of water changes to keep this down, and i also added a nutrafin co2 system yesterday, along with plant gro food
i know these fish have grumpy faces anyway, but hes sitting on top of the filter and doing nothing for most of the time( not looking weak !),hes eating and we will go for a swim sometimes, but i think the clowns are too inquisitive for his liking, hes not being nasty to any of them or flaring, but i dont want this for him,i was thinking about putting him in a 55 litre hexagonal tank if no one comes up with any suggestions, but then he will probably pull his face cos he was there first,he has lots of space in the tank, as all the others are bottom dwellers ( in theory) but somethings bothering him and id like to know what,,
the fish or the nitrites(daily water changes)
i have another siamese ff in a biorb in my room and the media has been cycling in there,he had nitrite and i think some one forgot to tell him tho as he wasnt bothered at all( if these are the symptoms) (i do changes on that every day too)
he showing no physical signs of being ill,( ie. ich, torn fins)
so any suggestions would be great thanks
