Siameese Fighting Fish Gone Beserk

Hi tonight somthing strang happend in my tank. Fist of all the water peramiters are normal and theres no cause for stress that i can see. Tonight my fighting fish went wild and started nipping my neons and my platys. I have got the fighting fish isolated in a net at the top of the tank. the other fish have been hiding since the attack. this has not happend before everyone got on well together.Is there anything i can do....Please any info would be great....Thanks

Bettas are best housed alone. There is always a chance of aggression with other fish. Some bettas will get along fine some wont.

The best thing you can do is house him in a *min* 2.5G tank

Thanks for the advise......he now lives on his own in a well planted 35L tank (im still not talking to him...lol)
