I have a 55 gall planted tank, which houses angelfish, dwarf neon rainbows, polka dot loaches and possibly some otos. My water is soft and acidic. I was thinking about some sort of shrimp for algae control, rather than the otos and wondered if any particular kind might be suitable. How many would I need for a tank that size?

Sorry- I know absolutely nothing about shrimp. Any advice is very welcome. :)

no way, no way they will eat them before they hit the bottom of the tank. The name angel is quite ironic since they are very aggressive and will nip attack anything that they think they can eat

Thanks for that - I did wonder if they would eat them. Cheers :)
