Hi guys

I'm looking into getting a cube to put my shrimp in and I have been looking into filtration. I was first looking at the smallest internals available, and then looking into the home made ones (with a beaker and an airpump). Then I saw THIS pump on amazon. So for £19 for the line, airstones and air pump on top, I dont think its too bad. It's also quite nice and compact.

Any thoughts?

I have a PF2 in my Big tank that can produce are bubbles. Im that impressed with the filter im picking on of these up today for my Nano/Shrimp tanks

http://www.surreypetsupplies.co.uk/interpet-pf-mini-internal-power-filter.html

Interpet internal power filters have triple action filtration for healthier aquariums, better aeration, fully adjustable, easy fitting, easy clean filter cartridge and patented aqua valve. The mini has two foams for mechanical and biological filtration, and a seperate carbon foam. For aquariums 5-40 Litres (1-9 Gallons).

just worried about the gaps in the grill at the bottom of the filter. I'm hoping the lack of fish means my cherries will once again start crazy breeding... so I'm worried the babies will end up inside the grill (I have the next size up in my 48 litre tank).

So I'd like something simple like this.

OR I could go for the Marina i25 which I think BigBruiserAl uses in his shrimp cube (I think it's Al anywho).

I use a simple sponge filter in my tank with shrimps.
Nowhere for the babies to get sucked ion, & the adults love feeding on it

Ill try get a picture tonight of the filter gaps before putting it in the tank i have a filter i will be removing that i will be selling that came with the tank.

This is what it looks like
