Hi,
I have a 200 litre community tank running - mainly mollies, platties, tetras and danios, One RTBS still very small. Also, sparkling gourami.
I did have a couple of mystery snails but they recently died (still not quite sure why - platties were constantly picking at them though???). I am looking for some bottom feeders to clean up the detritus/waste/algae etc while being something interesting to look at and thought shrimp might be a good idea.
What shrimp would be compatible with my community tank and fishmates? I like the look of the red cherry shrimp, the red and white striped one, but have also read that glass shrimp are cool. Riffle shrimp seem to be a bit bigger and more easily available in australia?
I have a ph about 7.5-7.8 and hard water.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
