Show Us Your Unusual Tanks!

So my 20g which was SUPPOSED to be a 20g planted bombed. The light is screwy and melts plants and I can't get into it to change the bulb without destroying the entire hood, so that's a no go. So I'm looking for some new interesting ideas, and would love to see what other people have done, things that aren't just your normal planted tank.

So far my only ideas is a tank filled with semi precious crystals like quartz, rose quartz and amethyst, but that'll be extremely pricey LOL

I like the ditch tank! I've been wanting to do a Chicago River theme tank for a while, I need to find a source of doll house items, such as cans, grocery carts, perhaps some tiny toy guns. This & some model car parts to round it out, peat in the filter to "dirty" the water.

lol great minds must think alike Tolak, i've always thought of doing a River Thames biotope with some shopping trolleys and traffic cones plus various items of litter.

Ditch Tank abit dangerous, only because of the rim on the cans drinking hole can be sharp...
but looks very good!

would acrylic be ok in tank water, like would it give off any bad unwanted killing chemicals?
as i have an idea

well they make acrylic tanks so i hope not

Depends on the plastic, the black "extra strong" plastic for the outdoors isn't safe, but most other plastics are.

I can't see the ditch tank...
