You might want to check your water chemistry AJ. I am not encouraged by the looks of your fish. I hope you still have the old filter running on your tank, otherwise you are smack dab in the middle of a fish-in cycle without being prepared for it. The new filters we buy are really not filters, they are just a kit of media and a pump that will become a good filter once they have been cycled. The cycling process almost always takes over a month to complete and requires a lot of work if you have fish in the tank. There is a thread about the fish-in cycle that you can reach using the link in my signature area.

they are very active fish they are just good posers i havnt got my old filter i sold it when i got my new one i have been putting good bacteria in the tank should i get some flora boost and filter start i will take a sample down to my aquatics tomorrow

OldMan47- I am assuming that is a pet store. I did not buy mine, I caught mine down here in Florida while dipnetting.

Helterskelter- Nah, these guys are Gambusia Affinis. Unfortunately no females, this rare variation 95% of the time is only on males.

The flora boost and such are not going to help much. By removing the old filter, you have placed yourself into a fish-in cycle. Please read up on it AJ. There are several people in the New to the Hobby section, including me, that can help you get through a fish-in cycle, but we shouldn't hijack this thread to do it.
