Should I Use Sand?

Ive just bought a bag of that argos sand today actually its in the tank now, just waitin for it to settle!

If ya want ill take a pic on my mobile and show u the colour?

That would great if you could, might make up my mind.

tesco do it as well

what ever you do make sure you rinse it well in a bucket first untill it run clear or it will take forever to clear up

Im so sorry mate, just realised ive left my phone at work, so i cant take a pic

One thing i would like to know tho, is how long should i wait before i put my filter back on after puttin the sand in?

How many bags to fill a 70L (2ft) tank with about 3 inches upwards?

about 2 or 3 should do

Haha I dont think he wants a substrate about 5" deep xD ive got a 2"+ covering on my 60 lire and I used half a bag

and justjon Id take the plants out of the pots mate and plant them
