Should I Take Out My Nerite Snail To Feed It

I have algae wafers for him but the darn fish eat them every single time I put one in. Even if I hide it they eat it all. I've tried putting it in late at night but the still eat it.

Would it be ok the place him in a cup of tank water with a wafer to feed him? Or has anyone got any other suggestions

I don't know much about snails but they will eat scraps and shouldn't need much at that, i wouldn't worry about it in my opinion but others may say different

I wouldn't worry, snails don't tend to starve as they will eat micro organisms, algae and left overs. I wouldn't keep removing him from the tank.
