Well, I only had a 30 gallon tank. The 3 botia modestas were about 5-6" each and got very aggressive. A friend of a friend has them now in his 100 gallon cichlid tank where they are doing great. The 3 clown loaches were about 3" each and went into my best friends 75 gallon community tank. I could have kept them, but wouldn't have room for much else in a 30 gallon. Those were only 6 fishes I had in the tank.
