Should I Buy This!?

i have offered £100 for the below advert but had a return offer of £125. does anyone think this is a good deal if so i will prob buy on saturday

one albino oscar approx 25cm,

one tiger oscar (blind in one eye) aprrox 20cm,

one rusty red oscar approx 23cm.

one green severum,

one very striking jack dempsey,

one plec

one aluminium cat fish

everything is included. the filter is is rather large in tank aqua one, it has 6 filtration media's, a very good filter. the heater is only a year old, it's one that is incased in plastic. the is an airation device, that blows through a volcano type thing. the light system is a mere two months old, there are two bulbs to chose from, (moonlight, or rain forest). the tank is a bit old, i has just a metal frame stand, and hard plastic hood, it was the fish i was selling as they have value, the tank literally comes free.

unfortunatly they need to go but im reluctunt to let them go for cheap because they aresuch good quality, the jack dempsey has electric blue and turquose spots on him and is stunning, the oscars are growing welland have gorgeous colouring and marking on them (although the tiger red is blind in one eye he's still lovelly looking, just a bit het and miss with hand feeding )

What size tank is this? I think thats what would swing it for me, for that amount of oscars you will need a hell of a lot of room, did you find out what the aluminum catfish was? Also regardless of the size of the filter if its an internal one it wont be able to cope with the bio load of 7 foot long fish. If the tank is anything less than a 6x2x2 I would say no because your going to have a lot of expense or hassle in the not too distant future.

i have a 5x2x2 tank at my mums which i can releave from her if need be and rehousing one of the oscars would not be a problem. regarding the aluminuim catfish she was sold it as that so untill i see it i wont know!

her tank is only 4x2x1.5!!!
but like i said i can get another bigger tank, or rehome some fish?

Hi sorry didnt mean for it to sound rude or pushy sorry, I know how things can loose tone over the net.

But yeah if you have plans for the fish a 4ft tank with everything included for £125 seems like a good price to me

And if you have other inhabitants planned for the tank I think some of those fish will be able to bring you back some of the cost of the tank as well if you plan not to keep them.
