I tried a search but didn't come up with much. On my 10g tank its growing this small short white algea that keeps coming back and back. What is this and how do I kill it?
...Are you sure it's not fungus? Because if it's white, somewhat short and fluffy (think cotton candy), then yeah, that's fungus. If that's not it, could you describe it a little more in detail please? And where is it growing?
Could be hair algae (the really fine one) OR some kind of fiber debris (the stuff that makes dust bunnies if you have a LOT of them). Do you have carpeting where your aquarium is at?
Its like 6 feet above the carpet. I have 2 other tanks in here and its only a problem in this one tank. I guess its hair algea. How do I get rid of that and whats it from?
