Shipping To And From Canada

Has anyone shipped to or from canada? Is there anything special involved? extra fees, ect?? I have someone who wants to buy some fish from me, shes from canada though. I have only ever shipped to the US. Please help! Thank you

Of course there are going to be extra costs, that is why I don't do it

Yeah.... extra costs, and extra hassle.... unfortunately for us Canucks!! You'll have to package to get through the border, which means anything you send will have to clear customs. I'm not sure how easy that is with live animals and plants. You can probably look it up and see what's allowed.

I know with birds, dogs and cats there is a mandatory quarantine period which can sometimes be overlooked if the paperwork (and their health checks) are in order.

My dh works across the border each day, so I usually ship to him in Detroit, and he brings it across himself. A lot easier that way!! Maybe your person can have it shipped to a relative or friend in the US? Just a long shot...
