Shipping Snails

i want to buy 2 small snails off aquabid and was wondering if it'd be ok to ship them via usps priority mail from california to ny. a 72 hr heatpack will be used.

It might work if they will hold off shipping until all the holiday mail is finished and we have some kind of break in the weather. While I suspect that snails might be better than fish when it comes to travel, California is a long way and the PO is far from reliable. I've pretty much given up buying fish from anywhere on the West Coast because even if I pay for overnight delivery, it takes an extra day. Priority mail would probably take some time.
