Hi I am debating whether to use the algea scraper or not. There are all kinds of microbes on this 10 gallon tank surface and I have not wanted to scrub them all off. Do you guys use the algae scraper?
It is a planted freshwater tank with 2 nerite snails and 1 physid snail. There are hundreds of tiny snails that are from the physid and lots of string worms and dot microbes.

Instead of scrubbing, you can use a razor blade and gently scrape them off the glass.
(description says scraper but you say scrubber) The algae and microbes will fall to the substrate and be eaten by the snails or vacuumed up with a gravel cleaner. If its a bigger tank they sell glass scrapers with a handle.
