Shall I Upgrade?

Currently considering purchasing my second tank (a little earlier than i planned, but im an impatient sod)

My current setup is a rio 125L (tetratec 1200 filter)

2 silver dollars (2.5 in)
2 Baby Angels (2 in tip to tip)
3 mollys
3 clown loaches (2 in)
1 big spot plec (2.5 in)



I know my stock will outgrow my tank, but I have always planned up upgrade to 200L+ in the near future to accomodate my stock so should I take the plunge now? New it will cost me £300 and ill have two tanks in my room (sweet) id want to make my current tank acommunity tank and stick the larger fish in the new one, any opinions?

My answer to is pretty much the always the same to getting a bigger tank or another tank a big fat YES!

Yes, Clown Loaches get too big for a 240L tank. They get up to 16". Consider a bigger tank or rehome the loaches.

Well, I would definitely recommend that you try to get a 5*2*2 ft aquarium.. that would be your best option!

I have always been planning on upgrading, as to wether I do it now or in a few months remains to be seen

dont worry infact i rescued those, and ill rehome them eventually, i was offered some balas at the time too but found a better place for them at the time
