hey guys. I'm a new member. I am having trouble figuring out if my two neon tiger barbs are male or female. I know males have a reddish nose but I also read that females noses can turn slightly red as well. So this just confused me. one is extremely swollen. It has always had a larger stomach (which was always a concern of mine) ever since I bought him/her, but now it looks extremely swollen and I am concerned more so. I don't seem to see the scales popping out. Would this be extremely noticeable if it was? Is it a female and just holding a lot of eggs? If so, is there something I can do to get her to lay them? Maybe they are both female and she is looking for a male to lay them for. I truly would appreciate any help. I have photos to show you for better reference.
