Sexing Empire Goby

does anyone know how to sex empire gobies i have 2 one is bigger than the other but that could be age although when i bought them the bigger one was more colourful but now the smaller of them is just as coloured now. cheers

If an Empire Goby is the same as an Empire Gudgeon, which I'm pretty sure it is, then it's more than likely that the ;arguer one is the male. Wait a little while and they may start to try and breed, in which you'll see the larger one flash off it's colours to the female.

hi the larger of the two has longer fins along the body but he seems to drive the other one away rather than display but i suppose this could an age thing as they are young thank you for your reply
