i have just got a new juwel rio 180 tank, and was wondering if a severum would do any good in there, i also have an angel neons clown loaches mollies and corys

i have heard of people keeping sevs with smaller fish but i wouldnt reccomend it.


its very rare that it works and the tetras wil end up as food eventually.

Agree with SamUK about the neons.

Also, I had a Severum a while ago, and after several months in with my pair of Angels, it suddenly decided one day that it didn't like the female and more or less completely shredded her in a matter of hours (overnight). Hence the Sev was rehomed, and I treated the Angel for weeks, but she eventually died anyway.

Could just be a one-off, but best to see what others on here say just in case.

Angels do indeed eat neons.

guess it depends on the sev too but thats more likely i think.
