The 2 that I have in my 75 are pretty peacefull. One bullies the other a little bit, but nothing terrible. I'm sure you could have 1 in a 55 gallon, the only question I have is, is the tank of fish?

One could live in a 55gal....I have a green sev in a 85gal with 5 pim pictus, 2 keyhold cichlids and 5 golden barbs...Haven't had more than a little bullying while I feed. They are great additions to a tank.
