thanks no sev then

what else could i add
this is it so far
3 upside down catfish
2 bns
1 banjo catfish
and maby the 6 corys if i dont keep them then i might get a few more upside down cats
pair of firemouths or blue Acaras
but what could i get for the higher levels of the tank? would a pair of angles work?

Angle fish need a 30 gal or bigger. 20 gal is too small for them.

Upsidedown cats can get to be a good size so I would just stick to the 3 you have.

2 keyholes would be good. Or 2 rainbow cichlids. For a blue acara pair you should have a 55 gal. I had a pair in a 55 gal and well i split then up but they needed all the room. Personaly I think pairs are over rated. I would do one keyhole and one rainbow cichlid.

You have enough bottom feeders I would not add Cory cats. I would never add Cory cats to a tank with more then 1 plecos due to the poo corys need a clean bottom and I have plecos they make a mess.

Many cichlids tend to like the mid to bottom of the tank. Gouramis will stay near to top more. But my keyhole gets all around the tank.

Have you considered a single firemouth and the upside down cats? I don't think you will be able to get away with many dithers, but I'm pretty sure 1 firemouth will be fine in a 30 gallon.

Have you put anymore consideration into the keyholes? They are really cool fish, and I was going to stock my 29 gallon with one of them about 4 months ago, but then I sold the tank because I was getting bored with the hobby.

i would prefere to get the anglefish if i can and keep the apisto insted of getting a firemouth or anythink.
