Severum Tank Size?

Hi, I have a 43 uk gallon tank and was wandering whether I could keep a severum in there?

I know in the species guide it says 30 gallons but I don't think that would be big enough.

43 Imperial gallons is roughly 53 US gallons I think, which I personally believe to be too small for a severum. Alot depends on the actual dimensions of the tank, however having previously owned a severum I am aware of how chunky adults actually are and wouldn't keep one in less than a tank with a footprint of 48"x18".

Thanks for the reply, the tank is only 40 wide and 18 depth.

No severum for me, need to buy a 6ft.
