I have just got a 112 litre tank, i need to buy everything for it, just wondered if someone could give some advice ? whats the best filter ? whats the best heater ? whats the best sand or gravel ?

If ya got with sand, just get play sand from a hardware store or somewhere it's just as good and cheaper.

As for which is better. It's up to you, most fish will adapt to either. But a few fish is better suited to sand like filter feeders. Most fish are fine with either so in the end it's preference.
