Setting Up An Old Tank Of Mine

i have a 16 gallon (61 litre) 29.5"x11.5"x11" aquarium that i will be setting up in my bedroom, so i can a have a little tank to look at while i try to sleep.

my 130 gallon aquarium has a pictus catfish in it, and soon enough he will be 6 inches and eating the smaller fish. i am wondering, will he do fine in a tank like that, the tank will be twice as wide and tall as he is, so id think he has enough room, and if he will do ok then what kind of companions will he be able to have, i would probably like a BN plec.

Another information tidbit is i will have live plants in the aquarium.

i would think so.. but i would try and get maybe two or three more pictus as they like to be kept in groups

ok, i dont know if ill do more pictus, as ive also heard they dont do bad if not kept in groups, ill be using a filter with a bio wheel and its rated up to 30 gallon aquarium
