Many people wonder why they can never find any shrimplets in their shrimp tanks, when first starting out in shrimp keeping. Well to give everyone an idea just how tiny shrimplets can be, these guys in this bag are an Australian Native Species of Chameleon shrimp and these are even smaller than most cherry shrimp start out.



Adult Chameleon shrimp (Caridina sp WA4) are a small species of shrimp only getting as big as 3 cm but usually only around 2cm in length

I wish I had of been able to get clearer shots, but the limitations of my camera and the plastic bag where not in my favour, but what you can see shows just how tiny they are and so easily overlooked.
