Sensible Price For A Fluval 125

right guys i have found someone local to me that is selling a Fluval 125 for 'sensible offers' i have been told it is in good condition and from the pictures this seems to be true.

so what would a sensible offer be? i have no idea what there worth and only ever had tanks under 15 gal

How old is it? Are there any scratches at all or is it completely mint? Does it come with a cabinet?

New Fluval 125`s cost approx £175.00 - £220.00 brand new so obviously depending on the age and condition you decide how much you would personally be willing to pay for it.

Have a look on ebay to see what they`re going for, that`ll give you an indication on the amount that`s realistic. Some are going for £36.00

i have found it on ebay and its literally round the corner from me, few scratches but not visible when full i have been told, a few months old selling due to upgrading, comes with stand and filter etc

In that case, I'd offer around £70

I paid £80 for mine about 6 weeks ago but it came with the thermostat and a tetratec ex600 external filter. I would say £60 tops for it. There are loads on ebay etc.

That's a good price, especially considering the external that came with it.

Got mine off Ebay for £110. Practically brand new, perfect condition. Came with an internal so bought a 205 external off Ebay for £55.

i paid £80 for my Juwel Rio 180 (obviously 2nd hand) - also not really relevant, but you can always pick up a cheap tank

if i remember right i actually paid £110 for my 60l last year, shall let you know if i get it or not, hopefully will then can transfer my existing stock and have the 60 for my male bettas
