Sellotape And Fish

Even if it stops sticking, is sellotape ok to put in a fish tank? My breeder box v insert has warped making a gap for fry to get to the mother. I want to seal it, any other way i can do it other than silicone (mother is in it right now btw)

could you bung it up with cotton wool or something similar

What if she eats the cotton wool and...dies from it getting choked around her internals

ive used tape and no deaths or casulties yet

ive used filter wool on a few occations to hide fry from parents, never had a prob

I'm with Nelly here. I'd use something 'aquarium safe' if at all possible.

No point taking unnecessary risks?
