Second guppy prolapsed in one week

last week my weakest guppy prolapsed and was so skinny and weak I euthanised him. Today one of my most vigorous guppies has the same, it got progressively worse but he was acting normal. Until I fed the fish and he near enough exploded. Iā€™m finding guppy keeping quite distressing at the moment. Iā€™m planning to worm treat the tank, buy a higher quality food and not buy any fish for a good long while. Is there anything else that might prevent this happening again. My research leads me to believe that this condition is not contagious.
 
It's usually caused by inbreeding and poor genetics.

If you can post a picture of the fish we can confirm it has pushed its intestine out of its body.

Make sure the pH is above 7.0 and the GH is above 200ppm for guppies.
