Second Filter Suggestions

hi, im looking for recommendations for a second external filter to be ran on my 240l set up. it currently has a fluval 305 and a fluval 3+ internal. im sick of having to take the internal out to clean and declog so want another external. im happy with my fluval 305 but to be honest its the first external ive ever used and i might be able to get a better brand of filter. ive beed looking at the aqua one 1250, is this a good choice?? either new or second hand any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

cant go wrong with eheim 2217 or you could go for a fluval fx5

i would stick another fluval on
you know how they work and there easy to maintain

i second jackos vote. the eheim 2217 is a brilliant filter . very good flow , easy to clean and will last for donkeys years. just be sure to get the plus version as it has inline taps in the pipes which can be closed off for maintainence .

I have just literally taken a call from Aquajuardin to say my Eheim 2078 external filter and media (price matched £300 for filter plus media from online site)!

I will let you know how it goes and do a quick Veho Muvi clip when its up and running!
