Schooling Fish

I need help choosing a schoolin fishes that will eventually be moved into a 55 gallon tank with my BGK.

I was goin to choose a school tiger barbs but they're too nippy. So does anyone have any suggestions preferable sumthing that wont get eaten by my BGK.

Red Rainbows would look good and are very active in the upper levels. I havn't had any problems with them nipping and they get to around 3 - 4" so wont be knife food. Alternatively, danios are always fun to watch, just steer clear of the smaller species.

they are good schoolers.

as for danios look for giant danio (15.2cm) moustached danio (15cm)
and bengal danio (10cm) all will school with eachother, so you could mix and match.

another good schooling fish that will be a compatible size would be buenos aries tetras
