Scales Missing On Zebra Danio?

right well I just got home from the reptile shop and might've found the white spot cause, and also the death of lucky

I have a plant pot in my tank and well she's tried to go through it. I got her out and she had cut herself and also broken her back from stuggling to free herself, problem is I had no quick killing solution
So she had to end up down the toilet dads idea

So R.I.P Lucky
I've put the plant pot back in but put it right up against the wall for where the hole is that Lucky tried to get through.

Never flush a fish its an awful death.
Could of asked on here.
I would remove the plant pot so it dosn't happen again.
Ways of putting a fish outs of its misery are as follows.
Chopping the head off, or hitting the head not for me.
Clove oil.
Jug of very cold water with added ice cubes till its freezing cold takes about 30 seconds, best to leave the fish a while in the jug just to make sure its passed on.

Yeah I know it's the worst way to kill a fish but the 1st and 2nd options arent for me. I felt sick when I saw the split in her back.

It could take her days to die now, not a nice death when she in pain.
Its done now but its upset me.
I hate if when members flush there fish, your own common sense tells you its not right.

Yeah but if I have none of the above, how else can I do it?
The only thing I do have is cold water...

Read up on putting a fish out of its misery, so it dossn't happen again.

I already knew what to use, just didn't have it...

The only oil I have is Sunflower and Vegatable oil, otherwise I would of put her in there.
