I have a large angel alone in my 29. She has gone through camalanus worms, and next columnaris(I didnt quarantene some wild fish....). I used levamisole (cattle dewormer) to cure the worms, it worked amazing in 10 hrs… I used antibiotic laced food with water changes every 3 days to “cure†her of the columnaris. She is now eating very aggressive and acting healthy again.

She does have very long finnage; the longest I’ve ever seen in any pictures on the net and much much longer than any angel I’ve seen at any stores. Her bottom “pectoral extensions†are 5 inches long.

Small, thin/fine, lace like extensions off of her fins seem to slowly “decay†and fall off, is this normal for a large angel? Or is it columnaris again?

I will post a pic if required…

I don't know much about angels but I have read something that said, as they age, they will lose some of their brilliance and beauty. Maybe this means that their finiage will shrink or just fall off?? I'm not sure, but maybe this is what is happening. How old is it?

It is 12 months old from birth (give or take 15 days)...Perhaps this is what is happening, Ive never seen finnage this long. Its pectoral extention are 6 1.2 inches long! (previously reported 5" was not correct)
