No. The fish was probably injured at some point, and the break set badly.

Not to worry. As my colleagues stated it's either an old injury that set badly or a congenital deformity. Harmless.

Nothing to worry about. Not at all unusual. Some people snip it off with a scissors to get it to grow back normally.
