Sand Questions

im still cycling my tank and i have argonite sand but its not enouph so i was thinking of just taking that sand out and using play sand after i thoroughly clean it,my question is would this disturb my cycle, how would i put it in would i just drop it in and wait for it to settle or what?,maybe do a 30% water change and add it in,any ideas thanks

It would not affect your cycle. More than 99% of your cycle happens in your filter, not in the tank.

Argonite sand will buffer your Ph to about 8 anyway, so unless you plan to have fish which like a high PH, i would say change.
