Fish Crazy
So I was in petco today with my girlfriend. She just likes to look at everything and suggest completely unsuitable fish that i should have...Anyway! there was a huuuuuge albino channel cat who had dorsal and caudal fin damage and i felt TERRIBLE for him. The employee said that some old lady had dropped off 2 of them but one didnt make it through the night. He said the cat was free to anyone who wanted it, and I sooooo wanted to save the poor guy, but I know I would not be able to house him. Then i thought maybe id just release him, as channel cats are native up here, but then i figured it wasnt worth it as he might have disease, and i know quite well that albinism doesnt survive so well in the wild.
