My PH is 7.2 and they do fine in my tank. It isn't one i would recommend for a 64 Litre though, they are very busy little fish.

that is absolutely fine. I got 7 in my tank. And 7 lamp eye. Mine is a 64l tank too. Is yours a fish box 100? :)

ahh okay thanks tizer, i was looking into maybe keeping some tetra, but im not sure what kind of tetra exactly, could you help me :) ?
and mine is called 'fishpod' :D lol

neon tetra, cardinal tetra, blood fin tetra, emporer tetra, ember tetra, emerald eye tetra, rummy nose tetra, none of these usually get over 2" they tend to be calm and peaceful, beautiful, charming to watch. tetra are amazing when you have a small aquarium under 20 gallons, i tried loaches and gourami, catfish and plecs and i have never felt safer than with tetra for managing a tank. but thats just me :)

awesome thanks for that! :good: finding it hard to make up my mind what i want in my tank haha. was wanting a group of pygmy corys, then i thought no just get a bottom feeder that will be happy on its own, so then i could have a bigger school of midwater fish, i just dont know, so many possibilities lol :p

I sound like a scratched record at the moment, but since getting some Ember Tetras myself, for a 35 Litre nano, i cant get enough of them. They are cheap as chips, colour up really nicely and you can get a large group of them into a tank your size easily. Certainly worth a look.

thanks mate after having a look into them, i think they will be definately going on my stock list :D i can picture them looking GREAT in a nice big ish group :)
