Its looks like where of again lol they have built a new house and ive just looked in the coconut and found this :hyper:

eggs.jpg

ive noticed a small problem though 1 or 2 of my rummy nose have a few white spots on them (i think it maybe ich ) due to stress as the Pelvicachromis Taeniatus
are giving them a hard time chasing them away

my water is:
PH 7.4/6
Ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 20
Kh 3

ive added 2 pitbull plecs 3 weeks ago, i water change every week
i carnt see any thing abnormal

should i treat then and will it kill the eggs

nah the eggs will be fine but if you are worried why not add a bit of methane blue as this will help reduce the chance of fungus on the eggs aswel as tackle white spot/ich ...... but blimmy i must say thats one hell of alot of eggs you've got there ... fingers crossed they young dont get eaten this time

thanks, the ich has cleared up now fingers crossed, the eggs are no longer on the coconut wall it looks like there wrigglers now as every time i look one of them moves there body over to guard them...

We do now have free swimmers se if I can get some photos tomorrow

Well I think that was short lived, looks like the Corys have won
As I carnt see any swimming with them :(

thats a shame havnt you got a spare 2ft tank you could setup for breeding them in as fish like them even if you brought one for them there 1st batch of fry would easy cover that cost

I was hoping not to have another tank lol
Looks like I'm going to have to get one ;) Just for them though it will take time to set it up
And cycle :(

wont take to long to cycle just use the tank water from your big tank and squeze the sponge from the filters in the new tank and will be ready in a few days .... easy done lol
