If that is the case, why not help the OP out by letting him know which brands you think are better, or where he could get the same stuff you are talking about, instead of putting up a worthless statement like this that helps nobody?

as i said above, the stuff i used was of good quality but was unbranded

What has age got to do with it?


He has failed to back up his comments with reasons. He has failed to provide any assistance with identifying the brand (nothing is sold unbranded, every item has a brand name).


I swear he gets his answers from Google.

it was sold in a clear bag, with no brand name. and non of my answers come from google, they all come from experience

thanks for the help guys. I will have a look around but ont intend on going too far. I like the look of the finer gravel and it will be better for the plants, especially with a decent substrate beneath it.

We can probably end this one now. Thanks to all.
