Rocks

Thanks I have already done the vinegar test and they all are fine. And yes I am using sand as my substrate. I hope my tank will look good! Natural is what I am aiming at. :)

You need to be certain that the rocks are aquarium suitable, maybe get them ID'd (sounds silly i know).....
I'd have a look at the link on rocks in The-Wolfs signature. It goes into a decent amount of detail and will tell you everything you need to know. Link doesn't work for me so i can't actually provide any (cheekily pinched) info :S
Ps; you can search members name in advanced search.

Halfblood, my last comment wasn't aimed at you, it was aimed at platyfanatic.

Hope all goes well with the tank, would love to see some pics :)

Hints the vinegar test my friend, if the rocks fizz, they're unsafe, if they don't fizz they're safe...

This is by no means a perfect test as vinegar is a very weak acid

I found the topic and it helped alot. Found out that two of my unknown rocks were granite.

PRW1988:
Woops! lol
Anyway, I hope the tank works out soon too! It will be ready pretty soon and I will have pics up. Probably around the 15th.
