Ripped Out Old Plants And Started Again...

Scuse the crummy iPad photo.

My old plants had been through the mill a bit after an outbreak of black hair algae, so I ripped them out and started again. I just plonked the new ones in anywhere to keep them wet until I can spend longer on it, but it seems to have gone ok, I might leave them!

is that java fern at the centre back? not buried is it.. it needs to be out of the substrate ( tie to the wood) but then saying that ur ipad pics are waaayyy better than my carp eyesight

I can't work out which one you mean, but the java fern is tied onto the wood I think you might mean the amazon sword, which was four times the size earlier before I 'gave it a bit of a trim' ie decimated it!
