Nope. I get itchy skin from blood worms though
All Melafix is, is tea tree oil. Primafix is made out of West Indian Bay leaf.
Maracyn is US only. All those other ones are Japanese to me thoughKeep an eye out it looks pretty bad. What you are treating with is fine for the moment, but it it gets any worse or you start to notice any white growth around it, then you will need to switch onto some stronger medications.
Water changes are a must in this case. More then the regular weekly w/c should be done!
Pimafix and Melafix require 1 week of dosing then water change, what stronger meds are there?
Thats just what the company recommends but as long as you are only replacing the medication you are removing, you are fine.
If he starts to get sick there are stronger medications that can be used, as someone said Marcyn is good (never used it as it's only available in the UK.) You could also try Neoplex, Kanaplex (recommend this one), Paraguard, Polyguard or Sulfathiazole (all by Seachem.) Remember though, Mela/Primafix are pretty mild.
Never heard of that before. wouldn't be that odd though. It seems im developing some sort of skin allergy to the medicine, My skin is burning, itching and becomming sore after I use the medicine, I wash my hand thorooughly after use...... Anyone else get this problem..?

Wow, good to have some corroboration, I've told my family for years that bloodworms make me itch (my eyes will even get itchy, red, and swollen) and no one seems to believe me.
