Well, my red female, Dora, passed away last night. She really fought hard against the Calamaris.

Belle and Sparkalina are still holding on. I have a question. I am treating with Tetracycline and Myacin 2 plus aquarium salt. They just received their second dose. Should I do a water change and switch to Jungle Fungus Clear or should I stick with the 2 antibiotics?

Any advice to save my last two girls would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear, but do you you by any chance mean "columnaris" as opposed to "Calamaris" ??

Yes...I didn't get much sleep last night. I feel like a mom who is losing her kids. I kept getting up to check on the girls. Ugh.

You are not using the tetracycline in the main tank are you, carry on with the med, sorry for your loss of the other R.I.P.

I am only using antibiotics in isolation jars....I think Belle is on her way. She seems to be paralyzed in the back. This is so heartbreaking. My blue girl, Sparkalina is moving around a bit and looks better than Belle. I decided to put the Jungle Fungus Clear in the tank with other meds. At this point, it can't hurt.

Thanks so much
Sandi

Salt baths are good as columnaris desease hates salt, maybe some salt in the jars as well, sorry to hear about bella, if she is paralyzed sorry there is nothing you can do for the poor girl, add aeration as with the med you are taking the 02 out of the water, sorry for your problems, good luck..
