Right Move?

I want to ask if i am doing the right move in feeding my fish. First i bring a cup and take out a bit of water from my tank, then i put the pellets and the flakes in the same time inside the cup. I wait 2 min till they drown in the cup. Then i put them in the tank so all my fish can eat in the same time. I am doing it because i have some bottom dwellers i meant sharks silver and columbian shark. So some food can reach them in the bottom of the tank.

sounds about right to me. i do the same thing for my kribs because they won't come up for food and i don't want the rosy barbs eating everything.
