Rescuing A Betta

After seeing how sad the beta I looked at PetSmart And i ive always wanted one so decided to get a the only one left at Walmart...but i didn't wanna just go grab one and not know any thing bout them so I stayed up till 12 reading forums bout Bettas on here so I finally got one tonight it's a little female

Would cloth plants be ok to put in with it? is my only question cus I know plastic plants will not be ok to put in with her

yeah they should be okay to put with your betta, if you dont mind me asking. how big the tank that she is in?

Either 1.8 or 2 gallons Ik you should have a 2.5 which I will be getting by the end of the week, I would think a 2g will be ok for a couple days

yeah, it should be fine for a couple of days. but IMO a bettas minimum tank size is 5 gallons and plus, in a 2.5 gallon, cycled tank you would still need to do 50% water changes weekly

By cloth plants do you mean the silk plants made for aquariums?

Alright, cool well like I said I gotta wait a couple days so I just got the biggest small tank we had but I do plan on mOving her to a bigger tank
