Rescaped My Tank Last Weekend

thanks for id's guys. taken all them bad ones out, a couple of the leaves on number 4 had already started to rot, thats 2 days. Still glad I did the video and got told that I had a problem. Today I have been reading up on more plants. I ended up taking out 11 plants in all today and taking in the two that arrived dead on arrival that makes 13 out of the 30 that I ordered, so lost nearly half of the pack dont think I will ever bother again with plant packs off ebay.

Im now after some plants that can go at the back of my tank that will grow nearly to the top of my tank but not straggly if you know what I mean.

again thanks to everyone who has helped me out on this thread and a big thank you to ianho for being the first to bring the bad plants to my attention.

sorry to bump an old post, well a month old. just to bring people upto date, the ebay seller really did not want to help so I raised a dispute, surprise surprise he repsonded straight away when the dispute was raised, offered full refund if I returned the plants, which I did, but still did not offer me the money, so I took it further with ebay and they refunded me the total cost of the plants. But it took over a month to sort out, not a lot of money but I was not gonna be fobbed off with half of the deal being non aquatics. I notice he is still selling the non aquatics to people so its obvious that he makes more money by selling the non aquatics to un-suspecting aquarium owners.

Just glad im a member here and the good people can guide us on whats good for the tank and whats not, so thanks everyone that helped id the plants above .

I have been buying some plants locally now, costing a little more but im researching plants now before buying and not doing lucky dips anymore.

Were the plants from the Last trading post by any chance?

I am thinking of ordering the 50 plant bundle to get started but have heard mixed things about the bundles and seem to be just to cheap.....

no, not last trading post mate, I had plants off them last year and they were very good, not sure how they are now but last year last trading post supplied me some good plants.

it is like a lottery when buying bundles as not all will do well in everyones tank, but the bundles on ebay are cheap.
