Hi All,

I want to give my tank a good overhaul and rescape, I plan to remove all of the plants and decor, hoover up the sand and then rescape. Am i thinking its ok to do this whilst the fish are still in?

is there anything ovbious I need to do to reduce stress to the fish etc prior or after the rescape, I was thinking maybe I should turn the lights off as soon as ive finished to let the fish relax?

Cheers

Craig

Turning the lights off in the tank would probably be a good idea. Unless you have any very sensitive fish, there should be no toruble doing it wit the fish in. If you're replacing substrate, any bottom dwellers may get in your way, but they'll be more a annoyance than a danger to the fishes health (unless you bury the under the sand!)

Thanks K-Holed,

Im not replacing any of the substrate so ill just turn the lights off to try and reduce stress :)
