After some light reading.Anyone recommend anything current/valid
Goggled quite a bit, but as with most things, conflicting views seem to abound.
Apart from pretty pictures, basic plant biology might be useful, didn't really do much at school, and that was awhile ago.
Nothing too heavy though.

Good book. Includes a section on plants to avoid in tanks often found on sale. Some pictures are by George Farmer too :good:

Another great book is "The Aquarium Plant Handbook" it's basically a bound version of "Oriental Aquatics" catalogue with a forward by Amano. Should be about 15quid in the UK.
