Well, ole Redbull (my Superdelta for those that don't know) looks pretty knackered.

He has been mooching around for a couple of weeks now. His tank is in my signature. The water stats are 0-0-20 (as always) but I did a water change just to see if it would perk him up (it didn't  )

He is either just sits on the bottom (upright) not moving for ages or leaning on a rock. Then he hides for ever inside the tree stump. He will feed sometimes flake sometimes bloodworm/glassworm.

When he goes up for air he does NOT struggle at all but he does go back down straight away.

Perhaps he's just getting old like me......any comments (on the fish, not me :p )

The end of his tail looks black could he have fin rot?

He certainly doesn't look like the vibrant boy he did in the first pic

It could maybe be an internal problem. Have you tried him on any anti bac meds?

he is acting like my Darth. After being really ill in December he perked up a bit but now he just rests on the gravel or ornaments. Slightly swollen belly. Doesn't seem to react to any meds I try him on. I am resigned to the fact that he is either old and knackered, or taking a very long time to recuperate from his last illness. :(

His back end looks a little swollen or is it me?

He's not coming out of the log at all now, didn't feed at all..........see what happens in the morning

I'm not sure if that's just the angle he's in making it look swollen. Does it look like that when you look at him?

I think you may be right. He hasn't been seen since that photo

In the second pic it dosn't look abit swollen at the back end.
I think I would try a bacterial med.
